Welcome to Your Medicare Scope of Appointment (SOA) Journey!

I'm Agent Benji, your dedicated guide through the Medicare journey. I'm here to ensure that your experience is as smooth and personalized as possible. This page is your starting point for setting up a Medicare appointment that's tailored just for you.

What is a Scope of Appointment (SOA)?

The Scope of Appointment form is a crucial step in our journey together. It's not just paperwork – it's a key tool that helps me understand exactly what you need from your Medicare plan. By completing the SOA, you're giving me the green light to provide you with specific information and recommendations about various Medicare options. This process ensures that our discussion is focused, efficient, and most importantly, centered around your unique needs.

Remember, completing this form is not only a compliance requirement but also a cornerstone in building a Medicare plan that fits you perfectly. I'm here to help every step of the way, so let's get started on this important journey together!

The 48-Hour Rule: Planning Our Appointment

  • The Basic Rule: There needs to be at least a 48-hour gap between the time you complete your SOA form and our actual appointment. This gives you ample time to consider your needs and questions without feeling rushed.

Exceptions to the Rule:

  1. Near the End of Election Periods: If you're requesting an appointment within four days of the end of a valid election period (like AEP, OEP, SEP, ICEP), this 48-hour rule doesn't apply. It's crunch time, and we want to ensure you don't miss out on essential coverage.

  2. Beneficiary-Initiated Meetings: If you decide to initiate an in-person meeting on short notice, the 48-hour rule can be waived. After all, your needs are what matter most.

This rule ensures that you have the time and space to make informed decisions about your Medicare coverage. And remember, I'm here to provide clarity and support every step of the way!

    • Field: "What product(s) would you like to review with your agent?"

    • Action: Check the box(es) next to the Medicare products you're interested in discussing, such as Medicare Advantage (Part C), Cost Plans, etc. If you want to have a comprehensive comparison of all plan options, I recommend checking all of the boxes.

  2. Personal Details:

    • The next section is for the agent and there are no fields to enter. Just scroll the bottom of the form.

    • Just Press Submit: You’re all done!
